About me

I am a graduating undergraduate student at Xidian University, majoring in Computer Science and Technology with a specialization in Big Data and Intelligence. I am currently seeking opportunities to pursue a PhD program in Fall 2027 after a gap year.

I have achieved the top academic rank in my major, authored/co-authored several research papers (published or under review), secured a Kaggle competition championship and completed the TOEFL iBT to meet international academic requirements. Additionally, my previous dedicated efforts in studying chemistry (First Prize in the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad) and physics (scored 100 in University Physics) have given me broader horizons and a more interdisciplinary perspective.

  1. My interests lie in machine learning and deep learning research oriented towards hardcore mathematics, such as developing novel generative models and exploring the mechanistic interpretation of LLMs.

There is a reason for this: the “claims” in many papers make me feel unconvinced, whereas mathematics makes me feel reassured.

  2. I am committed to forming my own line of research through a long-term research career, ultimately possessing the capabilities of an independent researcher, while also being able to adapt to industrial research collaborations.

paper reading, GPUs, cooperation, funding, paper writing, rebuttal, project management etc.

  3. I hope my research is conducive to the improvement of actual productivity, or genuinely provides it with new perspectives and new solutions.

Rooting in the actual real-world industrial background is the only way to better serve this goal. The current issue lies in GPUs and computing power; for example: Qwen3-0.6B and Qwen3-8B, simple scaling up will lead to vastly different machine behaviors.

My research philosophy is: In the latent processes of machines, mathematics remains the sole verifiable ground truth. Research should embrace a machine-centric paradigm rather than forcefully aligning models with human semantics.
